Busy Thursday Night

After I put the little darlings to bed, I decided to sit in my craft room and create some new hair pretties and I made these!  Super cute!  I just love how the fabric looks worn.  It was difficult to choose my favorite but I do love the red, yellow and blue flower that is attached to the headband.

I'm back!

Classes are over for a month so I am back at creating fun stuff.  Put together this cute hair rosette today and it felt great getting my mojo on again.  I can't believe how therapeutic crafting is for me.

I also went to the town fabric store and may have found a place to hold my monthly Close to My Heart craft classes.  Very excited!

Well, off to my daughters ballet now and then dinner with the Birthday Boy!

Catching up with Sophia

Had to finish what I started.  Earlier this afternoon I sat down with my girls, and as they worked on their scrapbooks, I made cards.  I'm in love with this new paper called Sophia!  I like to purchase the "workshop" kits because it comes with step by step instructions on how to make these awesome cards!  The kits also come with stamps, paper and almost everything you need to perfect your card making.  The great thing that I am learning is that you can use the templates to make other cards as well.  Included are instructions for making scrap book pages and I need all the help I can get when it comes to working my pictures on a page.  Perhaps that is why I am so behind!  *Note to self:  Get caught up on scrapbooking now that you have cheat sheets.

Okay, off to bed I go.........  What should I make tomorrow????

Manic Monday

Have been wanting to get this Valentine's Banner complete, so I finally sat down and finished it today.  This is new in the Close To My Heart Spring/Summer 2011 catalog.  I used the Sweetheart paper pack to complete my banner.  I love it!  Will have to make an Easter one next and then Birthday Party banners to match my daughters birthday party themes!

Bippittyboppittybows! Fabric Flower Bows

I've been making these flower fabric bows for a few months now and really enjoy creating them.  My girls have worn them to the ballet studio and have received so many compliments.  I have my own Etsy store now and have a site on Facebook as well.
